 The International Scholar Laureate Program Delegations are extraordinary pre-professional educational opportunities for outstanding university students. Offered in Australia, Central and Eastern Europe, China, India and South Africa, the programs provide scholars with a chance to further their career development and strengthen their leadership skills while engaging in a culturally-enriching experience.
In each delegation, scholars increase their knowledge about, and become better prepared for, a specific career field. Through a comparative curriculum, they gain a global understanding of how that career field is practiced in the host country. With each session, scholars are able to compare and contrast what they see and learn with current methods and procedures in the United States. As scholars travel throughout the country, they discuss and debate leading issues while interacting with professionals in their career field of interest. These discussions are then brought to life as scholars engage in site explorations and see their careers in action first hand.
Programs are offered in the career areas of anthropology & archaeology, business, diplomacy & international relations, engineering, medicine and nursing.
Scholars of the International Scholar Laureate Program are exceptional students from universities across the United States who demonstrate exemplary leadership, while maintaining a dedicated interest in pursuing a career in one of the fields offered.
