Parents

The honor earned. The opportunity awaits.

By achieving academic success, possessing a strong drive to succeed after college and having the intellectual curiosity to expand his or her horizons through travel to new and exciting destinations, your son or daughter has earned the right to join the International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP).

It is the goal of ISLP to create an experience that will not only expose scholars to new parts of the world, but also to new ideas, relationships and perspectives that will result in a lasting advantage as they head out into the world and begin their career.

For many of our Scholar Laureates, this adventure is their first sojourn out into the world and professional communities. Consequently, for parents it can be a time of questions and concerns, hopes and, quite honestly, fears. At ISLP we understand this reality. But because we have launched so many successful journeys, we are confident that not only will your scholar have a safe and enriching experience, but they will return reenergized, rededicated and ready for the challenges that lie ahead.

To facilitate a safe journey and an understanding of the significance of the site visits, lectures and cultural aspects of the Program, each delegation will be accompanied by in-country guides who know the ins and outs of the host country and its cities and also by experienced professionals appropriate to the delegation topic: Business, Diplomacy & International Relations, Engineering, Medicine or Nursing professionals.

So please, read through this site and should you have any questions regarding any aspect of this potentially life-changing opportunity, do not hesitate to contact us. After all, your scholar is our reason for being.
