The International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) Delegation on Music in Europe gives its scholars a tremendous advantage when it comes to achieving their lifelong career goals. Scholars travel to Austria and the Czech Republic for 10 days of career-focused learning in some of the world’s most musically influential cities.
Scholars go behind the scenes and into the heart of three celebrated European centers of music: Salzburg, Vienna and Prague. In these birthplaces of the world’s most beloved composers and performers, scholars explore the origins and modern-day celebrations of classical, chamber, opera, folk and contemporary music. In the streets where legends walked, today’s students can experience the cultures, sights and sounds that shaped the world of music.
