The International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) Delegation on Engineering in China gives scholars a head start toward achieving their career goals. Future engineers from across the United States will embark on 12 days of career-focused study in one of the most exotic and instructive locations imaginable.
Scholars team with civil engineers to see the world's largest hydroelectric project, the Three Gorges Dam. They visit with scholars from the Chinese Academy of Sciences to explore a variety of career concentrations in the field. Scholars also hike along the 2,000-year-old Great Wall of China near Beijing, China's beautiful capital city, and learn the history behind this man-made wonder.
