Scholar Laureate – Delegations For Career Exploration

Greeting from China,

I starting on my journey to China on Sunday May 23 with a flight from Lansing, Michigan to Chicago O'Hare. I visited some close friends, near Wrigley Field. Then yesterday, well what seems today, I flew out of Chicago O'Hare to Beijing on a 13 hour flight. I experienced culture shock first thing when the passenger next to me could only speak Chinese, which made it hard even for basic communication. The plane landed in Beijing, China about 15:00 on May 25, I was glad I finally made it to China. It was a long trip but I am glad I'm now with the ISLP staying a the Plaza hotel. I have already made several friends, and looking forward to adventure in the week to come.
