Attention: To all those scholars who have been assigned with the topic "surviving the economic downturn" AND attending the business delegation in AUSTRALIA. (May-Jun 2010).
I have not come accross any australian corporation for the last few years (until the GFC happend in late 2007) that has been deeply affected by the economic crises which spread accross major exchange markets in the US and Euro zone.
From this date, the biggest companies operating in Australia are those of the minning giants "BHP Biliton" and "Rio Tinto" which have not been affected at all (due to the fact their success comes from important minning contracts in China and Asia-Pacific area which is regarded as the leading region for economic growth in the years to come).
If anyone has come up with an Australian company that has been affected by the crisis, I am more than happy to hear anyone about it.
Online enrollment for the Summer 2013 sessions is now closed.
