TUITION & FUNDRAISING

The comprehensive tuition for the International Scholar Laureate Program Delegation on Business is $5,490.

An optional Add-On is available for each country. Click here for information on the optional Add-Ons.

Tuition includes:

TRANSPORTATION
Economy-class round-trip airfare from the designated U.S. departure airport, and all scheduled program activities using air, rail, ship and chartered motor coach transportation. Scholars are responsible for their own travel to the U.S. departure airport in time for program departure on the first day of the Program and return home from the U.S. departure airport on the last day of the Program. Please refer any questions regarding air travel to the Office of Admissions at the earliest possible date.

LODGING
Carefully selected accommodations will be used throughout the Program. These could include hotel, university and other lodging, depending on the country.

MEALS
Meals en route are provided by the airlines. On average, two meals per day are provided throughout the Program, beginning with the first overseas flight and terminating upon arrival in the United States.

TIPS AND TAXES
All tips and taxes levied by hotels, restaurants and local governments, including airport taxes, where such tips and taxes are the same for all scholars of the group, are included. Additionally, tips to guides and drivers are included.

GROUP INSURANCE
Group health and emergency health coverage for the duration of the Program is provided.

COMMUNITY FUNDRAISING
The International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) makes every effort to assist students with gathering funds for part or all of their tuition through fundraising and scholarships.

If you require financial assistance, ISLP has prepared a Fundraising Guide to help you raise the necessary funds within your community. In addition, the Office of Admissions is available to support you in your fundraising efforts. For more information regarding fundraising, please contact the Office of Admissions. (Adobe Acrobat Reader required.)

SCHOLARSHIP FUND

To offset the cost of tuition, ISLP has established a scholarship fund to assist scholars who wish to participate in the program. Because scholarship funds are limited and demand is extremely high, several factors are considered in the allotment of awards, including financial need, academic merit and student involvement in extracurricular and volunteer activities.

Scholarship applications for the 2009 ISLP will be available once nominees have been formally invited. Please check this page for updated information once you receive an invitation and enrollment application in the mail.

In the event that you are preliminarily granted an award, your notification letter will ask you to finalize the award through submitting a copy of the 2007 1040 Federal Income Tax Return of the individual who claimed you as a dependent. You may submit your own tax return only if no one claimed you as a dependent in 2007. Please have this form ready for mail in the event that you are tentatively offered a scholarship. The federal tax form serves as proof of financial need as indicated upon your Scholarship Application. The International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) and Golden Key cannot grant any scholarship money without receiving sufficient proof of income.

If you have any questions, please contact the Office of Admissions.
