College Credit

The International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) has partnered with nationally ranked George Mason University to offer college credit to any student who takes part in one of our international delegations. George Mason University was recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the best national universities in 2011 and as the #1 "up-and-coming" national university for 2013!

George Mason University sets the highest standards for education, and we are proud to offer our Scholar Laureates the opportunity to earn college credit while exploring their career field through the lens of another culture.

Students attending ISLP in Australia, the United States of America, or China may receive two (2) college credits*, at the cost of US$200.

If you are interested in using your financial aid to cover the cost of the credit(s), please take a copy of the estimated cost-of-attendance for ISLP to your financial aid counselor. You and your counselor will review your financial aid package together with this additional information.

For further information on receiving college credit for attending the Program, please contact the Office of Admissions and visit George Mason's web site for additional information.

*All credits are non-degree and will be issued by George Mason University on a pass/fail basis. The actual transfer of this credit is dependent upon the policy and discretion of the college attended. We encourage scholars to consult with their home institutions to ensure the credit will be accepted before purchasing the credit. Students will have access to official George Mason University transcripts upon successful completion of the Program. Transcripts can be sent to other universities upon written request of the student to George Mason University.
